  1. Whats running through my mind though is that the small key pad which you enter the codes into works the car alarm/ locking so if all codes are the same surely any keyless impreza owner could break into and disarm the alarm with that code haha Im prob wrong thats just how my brain is seeing it and makes me think all codes would be different to use the keypads :) even if the lock codes combinations are the same id hope there's a code to access the panel which is always different :/ James
  2. Should all be in the black subaru owners folder! id imagine all codes are different.
  3. I have a 2008 impreza hatch and have keyless entry ..... push black button on door handle and it unlocks the car fully! even when the cars locked i can go to the boot, push boot release and it unlocks the whole car! You currently have keyless? or looking to have it installed ? If you already have it it should just be a programming job to tell the car to unlock fully! James
  4. welcome along mate :) love a good hatch ;) James
  5. This is 100% true and happening :( absolutely awful! im a long standing member on the starlet forum ( UKSO ) and this has been covered massively and tapatalk has been deemed the best bet at the moment as it allows direct upload from devices :) As for thread pics using photobucket unfortunately its gone unless you wanna pay £400 your have to start again pics wise :( James
  6. Ive used reddex on multiple cars.... honestly dont feel massive improvements if any. Im currently contemplating CarbonClean, this has seen massive improvements and only cost £99 appears to be reddex on steroids haha http://www.enginecarbonclean.com/ and this is my local ones FB page https://www.facebook.com/EccSomerset/ James
  7. 100% win for the new look mate so so much better :) Keep up the good work James

  15. Yoko for premium tires every time but currently got Pirelli pzero currently and seem to be good! James
  16. Its an aftermarket switch so i can imagine its to do with something added at a later point I.E gauges, interior lights, fog lights ect ect i would say its a on/off for something that was or is there :) I know some mapped ECU's can have swtichable maps so maybe that ?!? you never knoow James

  20. Installed an update disc for the subaru sat nav as it was majorly out of date :) 2008 version ...... now running 2015, result 👍 Cost £29.99 over subaru's £200+ James
  21. Like yourself mate i was in this situation 6+months ago! After years and years of iphones and an insane amount of them breaking on me and there stupid software upgrades i decided to make the jump to the S7 edge on release date ....... The best thing i ever did! I will happily say il never own an iphone again the samsung is world above apple when it comes to phones HOWEVER ........... Theres is only one downside to the samsung S7 the gorilla glass isnt all that strong, my wife and sister in-law are both on their second screens! one cracked when being lightly dropped in a handbag and the other was cracked when sitting down with skinny jeans on! But saying that mine has held together ok and im not exactly the nicest to my phones but it does put you on edge about the screen Go for the change man, will be worth it!!! James
  22. Batterys, they sell a wide range on the flat batteries for watches and fobs in sainsburys but not the correct one for my fobs (cr1632), timpsons dont sell them either so ended up at halfords and they cost £4 each 😑 on the plus side i can now drive my car 😂 James
  23. Drove to work in the wifes car as both fobs have decided to die 😠😠 couldn't find the right ones in sainsburys so off to timpsons in the morning :)
  24. Yokohama AD08R's ....Best tires ive ever owned and driven with Have a look into them :P James
  25. If your 100% sure you want to spend that money on the car the best thing would be to improve your suspension! Decent tires and springs or coilovers will go along way!! Anything engine wise would be pointless on a non turbo :( James
