Petrol Problems
o yeah by the time you put RR time on etc No, tbh i think alot of the syvecs modules are silly money, £450 for a two inch screen is a bit much IMO, I've bought a asus memopad and gonna bluetooth it up to the android software when it's released, still gonna be over £350 for the setup, but a much bigger screen and can play games on it hahahaha

Petrol Problems
As above, Kev is the gaffer at clinic. Clinic is the only place my car goes :) Ecutek or Open source is a fairly hotly debated subject, each has its benefits and drawbacks. Ecutek is typicly more money for first map due to the license fee, after that they are the same price (set by the mapper/company). On the flip side if there's any software issues or glicthes ecutek support their mappers, my old hawk had an issue with it kicking up a CEL, had it been opened sourced it would have been an issue, instead the fault got kicked back to ecutek by pat and they custom wrote a pacth for the software that has since gone into the latest Ecutek software. Ecutek vet the mappers so can't just download and map away. Make of that what you will, but personaly i would rather have the back ground tech support that Ecutek have rather than googling for answers. My type R now has syvecs fitted and thats a whole different ball game, same mapper mapped it, Pat Herborn mr syvecs himself :D

Hola folks
Its not that far from standard at the min, mods are currently, I got the syvecs from a mate who was stripping his car so managed to grab it cheap just when i was getting a remap anyway :) 330mm AP 4 pot from brake's rear new age brembo brakes Gt Gen spec 2 headers Full scr decat Harvey smith up pipe Factory option OZ wheels (think variation on supertourismo) Syvecs Retrimmed steering wheel Uprated excede clutch Turbo was struggling and only made 290, had gone in for new turbo and few other bits and bobs. They clocked a rattle from the crank second the fired it up the night i dropped it off, so now needs a rebuild. Not sure on route yet, 2.0, 2.1 and 2.5 are all possible options :)

Spare Wheel for XV
Dad picked up his new XV last week, think he paid £300 for spare and the boot carrier for it. Does remove alot of boot space though, lifts the whole boot floor up

Lean
highest ron possible is always best, even unmapped 99 ron is best for them. AFR wise 11:1 on boost is ideal, no need for that amount of fuel when not on boost hence it gets wound back a bit. Mine on a 2.5 below

Hola folks
Hi guys, came across this site by accident when searching on google so thought i'd say hello. Current car is a Volvo V50, my other one is currently parked up at scoobyclinic awaiting removal of the engine with a rattly crank. Not ideal lol
