Have you tried cleaning the boost solenoid aswell as they get bit gummed up over time quick squirt of wd or brake cleaner down both outlets usually helps

Yeah just spotted the standalone map sensor just helps to know Take it all the settings on the power commander are ok in terms of boost setting etc Been a while since used an apexi tbh

Also as temporary measure try looping the pipe from the wastegate actuator straight to the nipple in the turbo compressor intake This will check your turbo is boosting up to wastegate pressure (std boost) Will also help to eliminate were the problem actually is

Steering problem
Also check the steering rack universal joint by the brake servo nr the turbo ,as the heat drys it up making your steering stiff and notchy Happened to both my cars and easily sorted with a spray of wd40

Boost solinoid issue
You should find your ecu pinout here https://www.xcceleration.com/pinouts.htm Open whichever diagram is for your car and check what the location of the boost solenoid wires are on the pinout !!! Use a multimeter to check for continuity by putting one probe in the correct pin on multiplug then put other probe at the boost solenoid plug end ,multimeter should beep if ok and repeat for the other wire on solenoid plug too This should tell you if the wiring from ecu to the solenoid is ok

Yeah the c brace :) Have one of those but it does have some surface rust but nothing serious and the ends like most are a little crushed from goons jacking it up on them , but still pretty good mate

Nope it's in good nick from my own 3 owner car that I've broke up ,and just to check you mean the one that holds rack ? Or the c shape brace ?? Have both either way but wanted to check lol The one that holds rack is in good order no rust from what I can remember and in good nick but will check

Just buy a cheap obd code reader from evil bay only cost about 15 and will save ya a fortune and give you any fault codes too
