Black is harder to keep clean yes, as long as you keep on top of it, little and often is what i do, also shows swirl marks very easily, so always be gently, but once clean etc black does look good. 55 WRX STI PPP

It might be the pads moving in the calipers, mine does it, especially when you change direction and then brake slightly. 55 WRX STI PPP
