Hi all. I picked up my classic wrx wagon and after driving it for the last 2 days I have noticed a slight hissing noise coming from the front section of the exhuast. Only noticed it as I exit the car and wait a for a bit for it to cool down. Obviously driving round it hardly notices due to the growling of the Scooby but I'm assuming it will get worse and and I'll lose power ?. Any tips on pin pointing the hole or split ?. Thanks.

Yes all the studs and clips are pressnt. I just had a quick look and there are 2 holes on the inside of the boot, 1 on each side but I'm assuming if remove the plastic then there will be more?. Must of been filled In, not sure why anyone would do that but hey ho.

I have the spoiler and the holes are all there but the actual tail gate has none ? Unless it's been filled and sprayed maybe ? Come to think of it the tail gate paint is very flat. could I cut the holes and then spray it ?.

Yes classic shape and ok Matt thanks for the speedy reply . I don't think the holes are in the boot for the spoiler .

Hi guys. My wagon currently has the mid level spoiler off at the mo as the last owner preferred it that way. I want to put it back on but looking at the spoiler it has some bolt fixings of Some sort, however I'm not sure exactly where they bolt on to as I can't seem to find any holes on the boot ? Am I being a complete air head ?.

Yeah the guy said something About it being 6 something clutch lol. To be honest I have been out In it all day and it's been way easier today .

Ok thats what I was I thinking. It's not as if I'm on a track every day lol.

Is it worth putting a normal clutch back on ? And could I sell the racing one or would no one be interested ?. Thanks.

Hi guys I picked up my wrx wagon yesterday and it's great I love it but it had an expensive racing clutch on it. now I'm not sure if it's me but it's really weird to get used to , I have had 5 other subarus and they were all so easy to drive but this one with the different clutch seems to be all or nothing when pulling away in first gear making it a little tricky on steep hill starts. I'm sure I'll get used to it but just wondered if it was normal ?. Thanks.

Hi guys and girls I posted a few times a couple of months back but I never ended up getting the Scooby I was supposed to get due to family problems. Anyway I'm collecting my classic wrx sti wagon on Fri and I'm so excited. I have had a few scoobs before but they were very cheap and nasty examples. This one Im Getting is very clean and a lot better . I guess you learn from your mistakes and at least I knew to check for certain things like the rusty rear arches that scoobys suffer from. I'll post some pics Fri after I have been out and about in it and once the Cheshire cat smile settles down.
