  1. Your welcome. Must look beautiful in black. mine as you can see is plasma blue. I went to Scoobyworld for some floor mats the boss Neil Thompson is a gentleman very helpful. He advised against or be careful of power upgrades because he said the 2.5 engine is susceptible to head gasket failure if not looked after. Scared me to bits man it's all that's been on my mind. Lucky I took a 1 year warranty on the car its something to keep a eye on Iwata. You probably knew about this already best to be safe I guess. I love the car it's a event every time I drive it.
  2. I'm sure someone will have a answer soon.
  3. Yes I've noticed it also. Something to upgrade in the future perhaps. Look if you feel you need a rear spoiler in your life the flat one with built in brake light, I'll have one available soon as the body shop take it off to put the big one on. Just drop me a email. I don't see many if any 2012 Sti saloons about do you ?
  4. Your welcome. I'm new to only had the car since December. I had a E39 M5 and VW Touraeg no comment on the later .Changed to this Subaru different beast altogether . It's at the body shop getting the big Sti spoiler put on a vortex generator and HT rear diffuser. I'll post some pictures when I get it back. Do not have any spoiler on your bootlid at the moment.
  5. I know I did a 20 mile trip back from work at 1:00 am by the time I got home it was more or less the same. My wife's car takes 2 mins max.
  6. Hello mate welcome to the club. I have a 2012 Sti saloon also. Have you any pictures would love to see it. Kind regards Cosmicalien
  7. I thought I was going crazy I to have the same issue on my 62 plate STI. Let's see what the forum comes up with .
  8. Surely that's not breathable Kayzarh. Do you not get condensation under that cover. What I want to know is what's under the cover lol.
  9. I haven't really looked into it any further Geoffleggy . My car is currently at the body shop having a STI spoiler put on, a vortex generator and HT Auto rear diffuser. The guys at the bodyshop told me not to use a cover on fresh paint. So I'll look into a cover I'm a couple of months. I to have seen a few for about £30 are you on about USA sourced. Thanks Cosmicalien
  10. Hello looks like i need another better cover. I've only used it once aswell. I take it it can't be good for the car in the long run. Thanks Scoobydoobydan makes wonder what part of the cover is breathable maybe the underside where there is no cover lol. Thanks again fella.
  11. Hello everyone hope you all are well. I've recently brought a Halfords car breathable cover hoping it will keep my car dry. Upon removing the cover I found the car covered in light condensation this may be a stupid question is this bad for my car. The windscreen was also covered in condensation on the inside. Any idea's on how to proceed further to protect the car please . I have no garage the wife converted it into a kitchen.
  12. Thanks big bear007 and Gambit. I'm enjoying the forum so much information available. Sorry for late response I work from 14:00 to midnight.
  13. Thanks Jay762. Hey Salsa King I only going to do about 2000 miles a year in this so it looks like a annual service. I use the dragons car for the work commute lol. It's a funny story how I came to buy this Subaru. I needed a car to carry my golf clubs in. I couldn't take the Lancia it's a show car. I had E39 M5 as my car for golf, weddings, restaurants etc etc but I had a offer I couldn't refuse for the M5. So i was left carless with only the dragons car to use. So when I needed to go golf the Mrs couldn't do or go anywhere. Then I brought a VW Touareg 5.0L 2003 boy what a mistake took it for a service to a main dealer 24 error codes and mechanical faults rear diff malfunction gearbox leak, major leak from the engine. Having said all that it drove beautifully. The dealership gave me a full refund top top guys it's on the way to Manchester to return the VW I saw this beautiful black Subaru Sti Saloon it over took me it looked so nice never saw one in the metal till that morning although they have been around for a fair few years. I just had to have it. I convinced my lovely wife and hey presto my first Subaru. Well there you have it guy's and girls.
  14. Wow all that looks cool . You know I've got 3000miles remaining before it's due a service I've only had the car a week or so you think I should get it in for a full service just for peace of mind. The previous owner had it serviced every 10,000 on the dot. Or would you advise just a interime oil and filter change.
  15. Hi it's all standard nothing done at all. I really like the fender flares and rear diffuser and the bottom lip kit with all that it will look amazing. I have a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 1 I think with all this kit on it will be imposing on the road as the Lancia.
