Hi All, I'm having some gearbox trouble with my classic Impreza that you might be able to help me with or offer some guidance. During a track day yesterday the gear selectors seemed to have packed in. It will not make any effort to go into any gear. It is currently stuck in neutral and the gear lever will swivel from left to right only. I have given the gear linkages a check over and all seems fine, as so does the clutch. It looks like it is going to be a gearbox removal job along with some stripping to identify the problem but before I bull forward I wanted to do my research. Anyone come across this issue before and how did you solve it? Or is there anyone that is familiar with these gearboxes that can suggest some checks that will help with troubleshooting while the box is still in place? Cheers

Hi Guys, I'm Darren and I am new to the site. I recently picked myself up a classic impreza wagon. It will be mainly used as a weekend car and I intend to do the occasional track day in it. There's is a few mods that I intend on doing over time so will greatly appreciate some guidance from you gurus when that time comes
