recently some pleb hit my moving car from the back. luckily nothing was cracked but the rear bumper had come off the the pop rivets on the left and bent some brackets behind. settled privately where i took it to the bodyshop i chose.
fast foward to today and I've got my car back. there was some corrosion underneath the spoiler which is an apparent comment fault on these blobs. so whilst doing the accident damage, i topped up and got the corrosion sorted and perrin wing stabilisers fitted too.
im in abit of a predicament. the guy has left the badges off to do the work but I'm not sure what to do. leave it debadged or rebadge them up again.
this is how it currently looks
Hi
first if all if this is in the wrong section I'm sorry.
went to fit my perrin hella horn brackets which I've done. But the problem is one of the horns is rubbing against I think the ac pipe. There is not enough adjustment on the bracket to clear the pipe.
Has as anyone had this issue?
i hoping to get the bolt/gasket kit from icp ordered soon. going to order the kit for backbone to centre section, centre section to next pipe (dont know what its called!!!) and new exhaust rubbers all round.
Previous owner of my blob PPP had replaced Center section with a 2" pipe. In the process he had cut off the flanges and clamped them together.
So ive managed to source another back box and Center pipe which is the proper 2.5".
The he back box is right due to the identification plate but I've got concerns on the Center pipe.
Can someone take a look at the pic and let me know what they think please.
To to me it looks like someone has cut the middle section out, don't know if that's where the cat went but the welds look !Removed!.
Is this normal?
Just discovered that previous owner has replaced Center section of my blob PPP with a 2" bore. What makes matters worse is that whoever did it, cut off the flange to the box section and Center section and joined them with a clamp.
I have managed to source a replacement prodrive Center section and back box. I'm getting new bolts and gaskets but question is is it worth wrapping the exhaust and if so which wrap would you guys recommend. Its a stock blobeye sti PPP.
I've purchased the perrin horn bracket so i will have to fit them to that, as a guess i down think the standard wires will reach. I'm to make some sexy wiring that you dont have to hide. thats the aim, i could go quite easily pete tong!!!!!
hi guys,
I've purchased a set of hella tones and naively thought it was a matter of just plug and play. how wrong was i. I've seen a fitting guide on the forum for a 2008 model car and I'm assuming its practically the same.
I'm thinking of fabricating my own loom with some red braiding so that it is aesthetically pleasing. has anyone made a loom for this and if so do you have any dimensions for it please.
