I personally haven't heard any one have issues with Impreza's, but that's personally, my blobeye has been nothing but a treat to own in the last year or so Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Depends what your doing with it I guess, I've just done mtec discs and mintex pads all round on my STi with a view to-do braided lines and DOT5.1 fluid soon, mainly cos I think been able to stop is more of a priority than going fast haha and I want a back road blaster lol Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

Every car has its problems, ringlands with these and the 3sgte engine(found in Celica and MR2's) then there is range rovers with gear box issues in the newer ones and engine issues in the older one's, the 2.0 Subaru's(so I hear) are meant to be incredibly reliable, mines over 100k miles with no huge issues. Think what I think is more important with all of this is the down pipe sits right next to brake master cylinder and that lovely plastic reservoir, not I'm not saying its going to get hot enough to cause any problems.....but is it worth the chance, it's great making things go fast, but I also like to make them stop too!
