in all honesty if I was going diesel id be going german! I had a E60 530d and in 2 years it cost me £55 for thermostats, that was it. and I only did that to increase MPG. Merc offer some lovely diesels, and to be honest nowadays, you cant go wrong with a kia!

he posted up a copy of the receipt aswell, 800+ in labour. The thread on facebook has hundreds of comments as well. Hopefully someone from the clinic see it and offer the companys side of the story. As said above, all my garage do if there are problems is ring me and advise of what they can do and what it will cost etc.

yeh I am not sure its true, i asked him to put his receipt on facebook and he said he will when he gets home

Just saw this on the impreza group on facebook, !Removed! hell if its true thats ridiculous!! Hi everyone, don't post on here that much but just like to know what people think of my latest visit to Scoobyclinic. I took my RB320 for its service which was quoted at £262. Whilst it was there I asked them to fit my my new discs and pads all round which I supplied myself. I was told it would be approx £55+vat to fit them. About 5 hours later they told me they snapped a caliper bolt and I was going to get the car back the next day. 5 days later and with no update from them except when I called them to be told it's in the process of being done I got a call to pick the car up. When I got there I got a bill for £1217 and was told it was because they snapped 3 bolts. I was absolutely shocked and they never rang me to say they were having trouble with the bolts and the cost was mounting. So what I'm asking is, is it fair to charge for all that time they spent it have they overcharged for the job? Bare in mind the service was included in the final price but that makes roughly £800 to fit brake discs and pads all way round.

Well the breaks are fitted! I have had a small problem with the alloys not fitting, I am thinking of changing the alloys but actually think these look amazing with the car! On the way home from work I just came onto boost in 3rd and what a racket, a hole the size of a 1 pence piece as per this thread That is being fixed Monday and I have ordered a second hand unit. I havnt wrapped it as it has all the heat shields on it. Because of this I have had to put richard henry motorsport on hold for a few days / week. Guages turned up though!! All in all I was absolutely !Removed! it this week when I thought the engine had gone, not sure I will get to a stage where I can drive this car without worry!!

-
all done cheers lads, will be here tomorrow.

I am looking at wheels now but want to stay gold, anyone know what offsett i would need to not run spacers?
-
Another thought, should i heat wrap the header? If so what wrap is good and should i do this before it is fitted?
-
I tried 3mm and it left nothing, they wernet scraping but I would imagine I could get .2 shim in them. To be that wasnt enough to be safe. Dont know if they can move, expand with heat or anything, but id want atleast 0.5mm clearence. I am also running the alloy lightened wheel nuts which I am going to swap
