With the car only being 18 month old, the head unit what is in it is factory fitted with dab, Bluetooth and it shows all the information for the car on it so I'm thinking too much hassle to change, so thinking of changing speakers and see what it sounds like.

Hi really don't want to start changing the head unit as it's all touch screen etc and I quite like it. Was looking at changing the speakers and maybe a small sub in the boot for a little bass, like yourself I don't want to go boy racer just want a decent sound with a bit of loudness.

Might be something I need to look into doing myself then.

Looks like I'm going to have to upgrade as I cannot live with how it is, is it really worth the £1800 to replace front speakers, amp and sub in boot.

Hi all, as im recently to owning a Subaru I have a question, my 65 plate wrx sti's stereo is absolutely shocking, it sounds awful. Is this normal with subaru stereos or could there be something wrong with mine. Looked at upgrading all speakers but there wanting silly money. appreciate your comments.

She's had a clean and polish, looking well, absolutely over the moon with it.

All I know is that it's all std, 300 bhp but once you put it into si drive.....it turns into more of an animal lol

Hi, thanks for your reply, only been in beverley 12 months, originally a Doncaster lad. Had a few cars Octavia vrs, audi's bmw's but I love the Subaru, but your right they don't sound like they used too, still sounds awesome and is a lot of fun to drive, probably one of the best cars I've had.

Well picked up the Subaru this afternoon, all I can say is wow, my first Subaru 65 plate wrx sti does not disappoint. Thought it was rapid till I discovered the sports si mode.......omg it's savage. Absolutely love it.

Hi all, would just like to introduce myself, I'm chris and I'm from beverley. I have just purchased my first Subaru, 65 plate wrx sti. Unfortunately I have to wait till next week to pick it up but took it for a run yesterday and wow what a machine. Any advice on do's and dont's would be much appreciated. Thanks for now. Chris
