  1. Hi all, I am getting rid of a few bits that I have for my 2006 WRX as I'm not going to fit them any more. Postage is not included. 5 speed 2006 WRX gearbox + clutch + flywheel £500 ( this cames from a stock 2006 WRX, excellent condition. Only taken off as I have done a 6 speed conversion) TD04 19T conversion kit £250 This includes 11 blade conversion wheel + compressor cover and 11 blade turbine wheel. This will allow the Td04l 13t to produce max 350BHP. It came from ARD Tuning in USA. It is brand new still in box. I decided to go a different route. Afterburn decat mid section exhaust £90 Again never been fitted, new these are £150 new OEM 2006 WRX air intake with newish filter £30 I upgraded to short ram. I had a full service of car in Jan so the filter is pretty new. Check pic for what is included Standard WRX Heat sheild £10

  3. Hello all, Just looking for opinions on the best way to approach a repray. My car pretty much has scratches on every panel and I want to get it looking brand new. I'm going to get arch extensions soon n my thoughts were to do a bit at a time. So I would do the wings and rear quarter panels when i went the extensions fitted and then save a bit more n to the front, so on and so forth. What's the best way to repray the car n cost. I'd want to get it done properly. Would my approach of repraying a bit at a time cause problems like colour matching? Would it cost more doing this? The get the best results would you have to remove the original paint first as I've had cars in the past that have had reprays by previous owners and bits started to flake off.
  4. Hello all. So I am about to upgrade my stock TD04L 13t turbo on my 2006 WRX. I waiting on my 19t conersion kit and 11 blade turbine wheel arriving. Any way I'm going to send the turbo down to Turbo Dymamic to get it rebuild and have the new parts fitted. I will of course get the car mapped however I was planning on getting the remap done a month or 2 after I've had the upgraded turbo fitted. My question is will the car to ok to drive prior to getting the car mapped? I know the performance will be affected but is there any other concerns regarding this? I wouldn't be thrashing it or anything Inbetween the new upgraded turbo being installed and the tune.
  5. Thanks I shall sent him a message 😁.
  6. Hi all, I am after a TD05 16G Subaru Turbo. Does any one have one there would like to sell? Give me a shout if so. [email protected]
  7. I thought it was TD04 13t or TD04L 13t.
  8. So just a quick question to confirm. I own a 2006 WRX, am I right in saying the stock turbo on one of these is the TD04L? I kniw the USDM verson has the TD04L, but wasn't sure if that's the case in the UK as some people state the WRX having just the TD04.

  10. Yeah spoke to RA Motorsports they said the pink box is good for over400ld-ft. What's the purpose of skimming the flywheel.
  11. Other sites have that clutch and they state it can hold 40% more power than stock.
  12. http://www.sprintingharejdm.co.uk/Genuine-Subaru-Impreza-Legacy-Forester-BRZ-Parts-South-West/Genuine-Subaru-Impreza-Legacy-Forester-BRZ-GT86-Exedy-Clutch-Kits/Genuine-Exedy-Racing-Subaru-Impreza-5-Speed-Push-Type-WRX-2005-230mm-Pink-Box-Uprated-Clutch-Kit-and-Lightweight-Flywheel-FF502-FJK2034-FK04H911 That's just for parts, cheapest quote I've got so far is £300 for Labour. I can get the pink box clutch kit on its own for £260 from Tegiwa. Every Garage I've contacted have stated they wouldn't need to skim the fly wheel tho. What is the purpose of skimming It? So I'm thinking I may as well get the flywheel along with a new clutch.
  13. Yeah I decided not to risk it. The best price at the moment I can find is £535. That's for the 4 piece clutch kit and flywheel.
  14. Ok, thanks for the advise. Going to get a pink box, just checking prices at the moment. I came across used pink box kit with light weight flywheel on eBay for £190. Seller states it has only 1000miles. What do you Think? Is it risky buying a used one?
  15. Yes I was advised an Exedy pink box by the garage. Would it act any differently to an OEM one?
  16. Hello all, Looking for a bit of advise, I have 2006 WRX Wagon. So my clutch is needing replaced and I'm not sure what clutch to get, should i get an OEM one or a stage 2. My end game is getting between 330hp - 350hp out of the car, not sure what kind of torque figures would be assosated with that (400lb-ft?). What I'd like to know is would I require a stage 2 clutch. I was advised to upgrade by a garage asvthey stated the OEM one isbnot very good and I'm also in the mind set as yes this would be nessesery. What do you guys think? Also what clutch would you guys recommend?
  17. There's honestly so many options out there if your looking to reach 300hp. A second hand STI turbo (VF 43) is a good option if your on a budget or you can get a fresh VF34 for about £1000. Here's a few links to guides regarding tuning the WRX . http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/01-05-uk-euro-wrx/ http://www.wrxtuners.com/forums/#/topics/4007
  18. 260 - 280hp is the best you can get from the WRX's TD04 turbo while keeping it safe.
  19. Wouldn't take a great deal to get 280HP. Exhaust 2.5 or 3inch ( sport cat in down pipe and decat mid pipe), fuel pump (Walbro 255) and a remap. You could also upgraded the y pipe for the intercooler as this could increase air flow.
  20. Now that you mention it I have read about T's being rebuildible. Not heard the same about my VF turbos. Do you know why some turbos aren't rebuildible?
  21. That's true. My thoughts were to get a used VF35 and get it rebuilt. Buy one for a few hundred n spend another few hundred on a rebuild. Would be cheaper than buying a new VF34 which is £1100. Or is there I'm missing here? Is getting a turbo rebuild more expensive?
  22. Mind look into a TD05g then, looking for something with a quick spool. End goal is 330hp to 350hp
  23. Take it VF35 don't come up that often then. Wasn't sure how much to bid as I haven't found any others up for sale so did't really know what there worth second hand.
  24. Hello all. I am trying to find a VF35 turbo or alternatively I will get a used VF34. I can't find any VF35 on the market, was hoping to may be get a used one of Ebay. Got out bided on one at the weekend, gutted. Not planning on tuning my wrx Hawkeye wagon till late next year so will be keeping an eye out for a VF35. Anyone got one to sell or know a source PM me or email [email protected].
  25. Hello all, Just got a blue 2006 Hawkeye Wagon WRX 2 weeks ago, completely standard and unragged . Great starting point, already bought a Invidia N1 Racing Titanium Tip Cat-Back Exhaust System. Just waiting on it arriving, taking it's sweet time tho. Been a honda man up until this point, owned a MB8 VTIS, JDM EP3 and EK9. Anyone recommend a good garage in Scotland. I know there's RA Motorsports in Perth. They can provide almost any service for Subaru's, however I am every weary of them. Not sure if their a bit dodge or not. Has anyone use them? I will add pics of my new Wagon soon once I have detailed it.
