Spotting A Fake HKS SSQV BOV

This applies mainly to the silver SSQV3 , but barring the paint finish, this is all relevant to the black ones too. There is also a large amount of fake Greddy RS BOV’s. So please be careful.

 

If you buy an HKS SSQV follow this guide and make sure it is the real deal and not a knock off. Be aware there are many knock off Greddy RS BOV out there that are even stamped Greddy and are still fake.

Great set of pictures. I have just got myself an HKS and was bit unsure if it was real or fake. It seemed to good to be true at the price i payed. But your pictures have removed my doubts. Looks like my luck was in. :D I have read different articals about how to spot fakes but to see the comparison in pictures is great. Thanks Gambit.
