  1. Afternoon,I should firstly apologise as I've not been on here for !Removed! ages, think it's called being a grown up? Boring!. Anyway, just about to convert my legacy gtb to single turbo and I've got a pair of heads in my garage which my mate tells me has RA CAMS.i have STI CAMS in mine as it is but I have them and wondered how do I check if they are and is it worth changing them over or not?apologes again, gambit will undoubtably give me a seeing to whilst blindfolded in a field again....
  2. Totally go single mate, the parts to upgrade arent that much I'e turbos form the next gen ( bh5 like geoffs) but the esl board and remap adds up,and for the gains you get its not worth it.ive lived with mine on vf18 19 ,but I'm going single pretty soon and put it on a forged engine by the end of next year.i still love my legacy and if it had !Removed! I'd leave my wife but alas I can only but dream
  3. Is yours a uk or import model? I'e what's it mapped to run on
  4. I done a six hour trip for a bumper recently,I had to keep it at 60 all the way an done a tank and a bit
  5. Now worries,I'm pretty sure they wouldn't but I couldn't say 100% either way
  6. They come off an impreza which was around the same age as my legacy which is a 1996
  7. I've not had that problem,my rears seized up last summer so I eneded up stripping off naked in the car park, sorry different story. I stripped my calipers a replaced/ serviced all the parts, they can get forgotten about hence mine seizing.i put EBC yellow stuff pads in them and not had any problems, pretty sure they were about seventy quid. I've used standard pads and they are a fraction of the price but don't cope well with any sort of hard driving in my experience.
  8. I've got a set of these sitting in my garage. Never fitted them as I bought coilovers in the end,the plastic coating is pretty much intact and theyve got their plastic covers. iPad takes rubbish pictures, if you want a better one let us know Open to offers, Curtis
  9. I've always liked the nur spec, but I commited to H&S a while ago.your have to put a sound clip on here. Just remembered I got a couple of other little bits the week previous. Alloy battery clamp in black ( just clean and simple) Stainless battery clamp tie down threaded bar New gaskets for the mid section. That's definitely it now
  10. Your be fine then mate, you won't have any issues with the front
  11. I've got 17's on and I've got 225/4517 and they're fine. Some people have rubbing on the rears and the arches need rolling but it's easy todo.when I went from 215 to 225 it was a vast improvement, I am using Goodyear's latest tire which is just as good in the wet as in the dry and highly recommended
  12. Well it's not just today but this week,I bought another rear bumper and frame ( had a prang in mine last November ) Bought a load of new subaru plastic screw clips for the bumper Bumper currently at my mates body shop being painted along with my grille ( grille satin black) Bought a full set of tien coilovers and alloy wishbones plus bushes. All in all not a bad week for car
  13. Thanks mate,Ive got a transit van so I'll probably just mow through a few now and then. Maybe we could attach it to me as an extension of my arm ?of which I'll casually hang out the window ,So if I miss any HUMANS on the first run I've always got a back up punch
