Guest
How easy or hard is it to recode a spare key, did not realise Battery had gone in spare key so when went to use it you got it did bugger all, had a quick look in handbook and it says in the keypad do this do that going through the keypad is that the only way or is there an easier way they don't list. On my Trooper it is easy put your working key in ignition turn to acc turn back take key out put in new key to code turn ignition to acc and hold down key button when light on dash blinks 3 times key done. Not that easy on the Forester by the looks of it, or if there is anyone near me who has done it befor on their 2003 2.0X come round chat Tea, Beer grub swap bullshit.
