kingy
any of you peeps throw some light on a problem with my 1998 turbo 2000. it takes about 10/15 seconds of turnover to start. Battery is fine as is the starter motor. i always wait till its primed. got the car with a decat in the boot and its got a dv but apart from that i would say its pretty much standard. bloke i got it off had a new cat for mot so i asume thats why the decat is in the boot. im thinking fuel but saying that i can here the pump prime. any help please? Jay762
sounds like fuel pressure given what you have said plus given age of car anything over 5 years it is worth changing pump, another point to take into consideration is the size of the forum - we have an exceptional amount of quality input within this group however it is reflected within its size, we are comparatively new so please don't always expect an immediate response - as the forum grows this is changing though ;)
