Gaulson
Right I've been having trouble with my exhaust blowing in 3 places... Lower up pipe - This had a new gasket but it doesn't seal it. What's the best move? 2 gaskets? Down pipe to turbo - This wasn't replaced so got a new one on the way tomorrow :) Lower down pipe - This wasn't replaced but now can't get one through suppliers, apparently it should be a bell housing (overlap) connection? Mine isn't, it goes together like other sections of exhaust (face to face). Apparently this isn't right? Had to search eBay and found the gasket I need. Steveuk260.Esq
I just buy subary gaskets. Unleas you have different diameter pipe from original that is.
savage bulldogs
Original genuine subaru gaskets should be fine as your headder outlet and turbo inlet will be stock size . my brv used to have a cheap upipe that would only seal if you put 2 gaskets in , even then it would blow the guts out of the gaskets after a few months [emoji53] But he was running 1.2 bar
Scooby Pete
I used both gasket and exhaust paste on a leaky down pipe.
