Has anyone bought anything from this site https://www.japanparts.com, r the parts any good?

Omg I'd there is mega rare stuff on there just been looking through , think I'll be keeping it a secret lol postage might be an issue being direct from japan

I think salsa has bought from there, postage shouldn't be any worse than getting stuff shipped from the states, just arrange it to arrive at your work address so the misses doesn't find out [emoji16]

It calculates postage when you go to check out, dont no if its right but I was told you have to go pick your stuff up from the airport were it deliverd to and may have tax to pay on it, hopefully someone will no if thats right or not.

Some of the stuff is horrendous though, check out the forester rear wings [emoji44]

And other stuff is silly cheap, 14.99 for a pink sti oil filter. 50 quid from anyone here, obviously if you factor in shipping it's more but if you bought a load of stuff would still work out cheaper

Yeah av not look't at everything, just the bkobeye stuff, but guess their will b some crap on their with some ov the stuff jap car culter has [emoji53]

Anything over £18 gets whacked. So value. I'd guess it'll be 20% of value + handling + admin.

Suppose it depends what you get, I ordered some tamiya kits from Japan a while back came to about 30 quid with postage,good old royal mail turned up and that was it,

Yea depend or what the company declares on the packet and whether customs decide to pick on that package.

If it does get stopped its normally weeks of delay and cost...if it doesn't then could arrive at your door quicker than some places deliver from the UK [emoji3]

Have used these guys several times.service is first class only problem is they use Parcelforce who charge u £12 for nothing, but they deliver right to your door. tax is the usual 20% but a STI short shift from them including delivery and tax still £235 compared to Subarus £450 +vat. if you choose priority Air its the fastest and is right to the door (by parcleforce) parts are genuine well at least the STI, Damd and Prova.

Can recommend buying a few bits as the admin cost from parceforce dosnt hurt so much
