Drumbeater
Hi there, I'm new to doing maintenance (my late husband used to do this for me, and since he died my lovely local garage) but I now need to know whether it should be so difficult! The car is currently off the road needing spares, and I thought I'd take this chance to do a mini service and change the plugs. However, I can't reach them with a conventional socket and was wondering what everyone else did? Do you need special tools to do this with? Adding to the problem is that the car has been converted to LPG so there's lots of different tubes and things cluttering up the engine bay! Advice is urgently needed please!! Jay762
you may need to take the ratchet off once you have the plug a few turns out as on some models they can wind flush with the chassis and stop you removing the plug
