Gambit
Great video's I love to watch stuff like this :) Stelvios looked Picture-ess Love to have a drive around there. And the spin was like the M3 I had for a short time. Amazing how scary railings other road users look from the side windows because some wet leaves just taken me out How I never crashed that car I'll never know I wasn't even driving fast. Tlag
Nice videos. I'm looking forward to the Stelvio in September. Where exactly was the hot dog seller? I think he's quite well known but I'm not sure where about he is. Years ago I had a Spitfire but always wanted a GT6.
tiggrr1
The hot dog seller is just by the wall every one looks over for that awesome view of a piece of tarmac dropped on the side of a mountain. Very difficult to miss him and his food is very tasty :) Having said that a scabby horse would have tasted good after getting off the ferry in Calais around midday and driving through the night into the next day till around 5pm for that hot dog. We go every 2 years, around 60 old Triumphs of all shapes and sizes. It's called The 10 Countries run or 10CR and we do around 2500 miles in 4 or 5 days. Tlag
That's an impressive number of Triumphs. Do you get many break downs? We did 2100 miles in 10 days in 9 Legacy twin turbos back in 2011. We had 3 major breakdowns and put it down to the age of the cars, about 16-17 years on average, but the Triumphs are obviously much older. There's usually 2 or 3 that don't make it and lots of inventive ways of patching things up to get around the route and back to blighty. With the largest collection of 1/2" spanners in the Alps every 2 years there are often some very creative solutions used to get home.

Just ask him if he knows of Team Shorts :) Me and my mate Gaz just have a laugh and take the mickey all the time wearing loud shorts and shirts, The GT6 gets hot and sweaty so we dress accordingly ;) :P :D
