ChrisD
Good morning all, i am currently running a stock air intake system on my 03 blob, although I don't have the intake duct fitted (See below) and i have a high flow panel filter in place What I want is good sound and power, so what is best to do in terms of result and cost effectiveness. Remove the resonator next to the air filter and leave it open, not replacing the intake duct. remove the resonator and replacing the intake duct, adding in a GP moto elbow to connect the duct to the filter box or something else that you could suggest? any tips will be awesome :) thanks guys. (also if it makes any difference I have a ninja backbox and a 2.5" muffler delete straight pipe and a dump valve fitted)

stants
Are you sponsored by hks Martin ? [emoji12] good but expensive. To be honest the airbox is good and will take upto 300bhp before you really need to change it. Just remove the resonator for more intake sound
ChrisD
I here the pods need proper heat shielding and such to be better than the standard panel. Also it will make my insurance go up more than its worth
ChrisD
And stants, do I need a new intake duct and an elbow pipe to connect, or just leave it open? Or I have even seen propose put in a speaker vent port in to open it up and direct air better

Sandals
+1 for removing the resonator. I have left the intake duct on and just left it open... had zero issues and it sounds great!
