Featured Replies

Hi there. I've just recently bought a wrx07 hawkeye and ot seems to be jerking when I change gear then dissappears .im thinking maybe a boost leak .The clutch seems ok as under full load I can't feel any slip.any greatly appreciated

Many thanks John

Thoughout all the gears or any in particular? Not sure what newage cars are like but classics suffer from some drive train slop in between gearchanges

paddle clutch could be fitted, are you changing low down the revs ??

Yeah Seems to be at low revs how would I know if a paddle clutch is fitted as i have no service history with it.

a paddle clutch is horrendous when driving slow, it gives a really jerkiness when moving slow, especially while in traffic or moving off really slow, however they are good when moving fast through the gears, personally i hated mine when i had one in and it nearly gave me whiplash on several occasions.

Lol.yeah think you might be right as it's a very stiff clutch to press and depress.
