vac pipes

Featured Replies

Hi guys, trying to get to the bottom of my uneven idle. Looking at the 3 vac lines from the top of the manifold. One goes to boost solenoid, one to BOV and the other i can't see where it goes, there is a T piece in it. Any ideas?

Looks like it goes to the fuel pressure regulator .

I'll have to check tonight but I don't think the boost solenoid should be directly plumbed into the inlet (map sensor maybe )

Boost solenoid

Top port turbo outlet

Middle port actuator

Bottom port intake pipe (black pipe between maf and turbo)

Had a quick squint and the boost solenoid vac lines are as above .

This is a pic of my old phase 1.5 inlet but the fuel pressure regulator is in the same place at the end of the drivers side fuel rail .

Bottom right in the pic vac line runs from inlet to fpr (looks a bit like a mini actuator)

That is a beautiful looking manifold :) I will have to get it in the garage and take a good look!
