I have just brought an Impreza classic, I am looking to fit a dump valve but i don't want anything too loud, I used to have a fairly quiet one on my s3 from forge.

Also, from this picture can you tell which type I should buy?

That's a v3/v4 engine bay

As for brand hks are supposed to be the best but aren't cheap .

You can get forge ones for the 3/4 recirc type that sit in the elbow on the left of the cooler don't think they make a sound though. Not entirely sure how you'd go about changing to a vta type on that engine
