JusNoGood Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 gutted you're selling it, someone will get a bargain B) If I was you, I'd try selling at £5k first, too cheap might put people off, or they might still want to knock you down on price Thanks guys. Yes, it is a real steal at this price. I've been offered £4k for trade-in so there is no chance of me accepting anything less!...if someone starts haggling I'll be increasing my price :D 1
JusNoGood Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Is a steal ! The deal of the f*****g century , just wish I had 4k floating around, you buying the porker then ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk Thanks Mate. I did have a fair bit of interest at my original price but ended conversations to focus on the house. So I'd be surprised if it hangs around. Yes, I'm going the Porker route. Daughter has only one year until Uni so one family car in the house hold is enough now. (daughter will also start to learn to drive in the summer...jeez where did the time go!). You can get quite a lot for £15-20k but they have very similar engine problems to Hatches so got to be very careful, especially with...gulp...£9k engine rebuilds. So I'm looking at independent specialise inspections!
Gambit Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 4k should easily sell that seen some selling for nearly 5k :) and as Gaulson pointed out price on scoobs does seem to be going up again :)
JusNoGood Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 Yea I think I just need to put it in autotrader. Salesman got me in a 3.2ltr Boxster S on Friday. Very sluggish compared to my scoob [emoji57] 1
Gambit Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Going to say I've scalped a few Boxers only Porsche that even Porsche owners hate lol Lad next door's looking at the blobeye I have to buy I'll let him know about your's first ;) 1
JusNoGood Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 Thanks mate. Yea, I was driving to a garage to test drive a Cayman 3.4S when I stumbled across it being test driven by someone else. We were driving very enthusiastically through the country lanes and I was easily keeping up..to the point I had to keep easing off. At one point I thought I should put my indicator on to overtake lol but thought better of it considering I wanted a test drive. Got the dash cam somewhere [emoji16][emoji39] 1
JusNoGood Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 You should have seen the salesmanship face when I said "lovely car but not very fast is it" when he was thrashing it on my test drive I then went to talk to the guy who was on the test drive before me (the one I was following)...he was looking to buy it as a track car...so I suggested he should supe it up unless he wanted to be passed on the straights. Don't get me wrong. Stunning car to drive. Very comfortable, sounds incredible and just sticks to the road...just needs another 50bhp 1
