April 12, 201510 yr Hi all I am having a problem with my steering on my legacy estate 2010 auto It feels stiff and not as smooth as I think it should be, when you have turned the wheel to the left and then go to turn it back to middle it's as if it sticks. April 12, 201510 yr I'd have a look at tightening the power steering belt sounds like that's gone a bit slack. what I'd check first just a few turns then check the tension on the belt. [emoji4]
May 1, 201510 yr It might sound incredibly stupid/obvious, but have you checked your tyre pressures? My stepdad thought his steering was locking up when he was reversing on his bmw, turned out the tyre pressures were just a bit lower than they should be.
