As tidgy said just make sure you get the right spring rates for you, you don't have to get the ones that come with the shocks you can request softer ones and they'll re valve the dampers to suit

Have a look at scoobyparts.com they have a bit of a guide on the bc's and spring rates

Are you going to be using it as a daily ? I'd be inclined to go 5/4. I was just as confused as you to working out best rates, gave up as was even more work on the foz bought a set of shocks & springs instead

Ah well the 6/5 would be ok. polly bush the suspension parts as they need replacing and Watch your teeth rattle out [emoji51]

i will buy that set then

and i thought about polly bush the whole lot once i got the suspension sorted

going to buy front an rear strut braces aswell

Posted

Nowt wrong with them mate, some say it's a waste of money but I definitely felt a difference when I put mine on

Posted

Yep you'll see the difference, you can get under body braces for the front and rear if you want to go for the full works

At the end of the day ultimately all your doing with the bracing is adding weight, so just strut mounts will see a big improvment. Unless your tracking the car it's not really necessary.

Im looking to buy a set of coilovers myself. Will i need adjustable camber arms to avoid too much camber?
