Hi all, im thinking the next step to a happier car would be to get her remapped, however i only know of a few in the area and was wondering if you fantastic people have any recommendations on who to use... price isnt much of an issue as this will be after i have paid for my wedding. Haha

Not really near be but still, i am using a place called area 52, I think if you find a subaru specialist you cant go too far wrong :) 

Give dunc (racedynamix) a mail he'll come to you, if your willing to travel there's , Andy forrest in Scotland, or bob rawle Andy Carr or scooby clinic, have a read around as people have differing opinions on all of them

Very few mappers i would trust with my car, Pat Herborn, Andy Forrest, paul blamare (sp) and engine tuner. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

Whilst browsing the interweb i found racedynamix tother day, havent found a bad review on him.

I will look up area 52 shortly.

Thats why i thought id ask before going to some idiot that ruins my car haha

I got the same dilemma down here in Bournemouth,Dorset. There's a local "specialist", Triton,but after a chat with a fella in the Dorset Japanese  Car Club who's opinion differed slightly. I've got a front intercooler kit wants fitting & probably should get a full stainless exhaust system prior to a required 300bhp remap. Of course i'll travel for the right mapping maestro.

racedynamix has mapped my cars for the last 6 years, I've never had a problem and always had good results

 

every mapper has good and bad feedback. Area52, racedynamix, JGM and scoobyclinic all have their lovers and haters. some just hate for the sake of hating

 

The best of the best and the ones I would choose would be - Pat Herborn, Andy Forrest, Paul Blamire and engine tuner.

Pretty sure Paul Blamire is off the Map (so to speak) now, but Zen Performance is still there under the new ownership of Richard (REN), who is also a good mapper....
