Does anybody know what the performance figures are for these JDM 2003-05 fozzies please?

Been searching on my phone tonight without joy.

Looks like a cheaper alternative to an STI import, but is it considerably slower?

Thanks

I'd reckon it's around the same as the xt over here so maybe 230bhp ish ? I'll have a look there's a couple on the bay & trader at the moment

I'd tried there already mate. I've found out it's 219ps and 308nm torque but can find nothing to confirm 0-60.

It was seeing them on the bay and trader that started my search for info

Haha ok well of you've not hunted this info the cs has a Tiptonic gearbox slightly lowered suspension and leather plus body kit over the xt so that reads as not as quick as the sti or as harsh ride and maybe more luxurious interior,

Did you cone across the one that appears to be on Gumtree, the bay and trader, white or silver with privacy glass on a brick forecourt ?

Good thing about imports is you don't pay stupid tax brackets so may be worth having a peruse some of the later 05 models that will be available for import

Don't think I've seen that one mate. There are several (at least 4 I've seen, 3 white 1 black) that come up on my 30 mile radius search on gumtree. Seems to be a company in Middlesbrough that specialise in importing. It's where I saw that red auto blob wrx advertised too.

Can't believe how hard it is to find performance data for these [emoji35]

Weird jdm business !

I'd assume it's going to be in the region of a manual xt/ auto wrx

The Tiptonic box makes it quicker than the normal auto,

Ah yes....that one has passed in front of my eyes [emoji6]

Good to know there are some quicker scooby auto options out there for future years [emoji3], even if it means going down the import route

I'm assuming nobody on here has one.....yet

Only ever seen a couple on the trader/import sites. There's a couple of owners on forester.org but that's about it

Mainly us but they have eu/aus/ sections etc

Fear not. I have one now. And I can tell you, the 0-60 is not yet something I've checked.

Hi all,

Instead of making a new thread, thought I'd bump this one up, Anyone got any info on the Cross Sports model?

I'm pretty confident my next car will be a Forester, but not a fan of the look of the XT and can't afford the premium for the STI but you have the Cross Sports which seems like a great alternative.

There doesn't really seem to be much info for them on google besides they're using the 2L engine instead of the 2.5 and pushing slightly less than our XT cars in terms of power and seem to use the STI styling.

There's a company local to me in Wales that seems to import them as well as STIs, Quay Vehicle Solutions not sure if anyone has had any dealings with them, they seem to sell quick so trying to organise a viewing of one when they get one.

What's to know about them? Is the 2L more reliable than the "chocolate" 2.5? Are these things remappable? any other info that's worth noting? I would be looking for a Manual.

@Eloise I know you've sold yours now but if you're still about on the forum would love to know your experiences with it

Also any recommended specialists in the SE Wales area?

Cheers

How did that turn out?

Uncle gravy, did you buy a Cross sport? I'm trying to decide between that or the Sti. I do alot of motorway miles and I believe the cross sport has softer suspension however only 5 gears not 6 like the Sti.
