Hi All

 

Have just bought a 07 plate Impreza R Sportwagon in black, the elloy wheels need a refurbish, but I fancy changing the colour from the standard silver, I fancy either gold, white or some kind of dark grey, any suggestions?

Dark grey is a personal fave of mine... it goes with almost any body colour :D

I think darker colours suit black cars too,

my winter wheels are gloss black and my summer wheels and dark grey/anthracite metallic.

Cheers, I was thinking along those lines, but not changing the wheels as they look ok on the car. I could do with seing how they would look, any one know how ai can try this out with out painting th wheels?

are you any good with photoshop?

could you borrow some?

 

one of the ways I used to try out wheels was to print out a photo of my car and then print out photo's of the wheels that I liked and just stick them on

Whack a picture up of your car (side on view preferred) and I will do a colour change on the wheels for you. (Won't be great but gives you an idea)

had my white wheels 3 weeks and only done about 80 miles...... They are changing colour next weekend lol

ford sea grey is what they were, its a kinda bluey grey

I like the JPS colours of old so black and dull gold (not Ducati / Aprillia orange) is a favourite. Full black will make the alloys look smaller though so a graphite or dark grey will give a contrast without the shrinkage
