June 30, 201510 yr Up until now ive used the same guy for my mot, who is obviously a lenient chap. However i cant get hold of him this year. Is a 51plate impreza wrx sti with around 40k on the clock likely to get through the emissions test without the cat? Or can anyone recommend a guy with similar lenient qualities in the southampton area? Any help will be appreciated.

June 30, 201510 yr That would be a NO! Unfortunately any car fitted with a cat converter after 1994 or 1995 can't remember which needs it by law to pass emissions
June 30, 201510 yr I'm sure there will be someone down your way that is lenient, it's just finding him. have you got any 'local' modified forums? I doubt you are the only person in your area that needs a lenient MOT station. as long as everything else is safe and legal, I can't see the problem.
