I've killed it !

After only 2 months owning a 2001 2.5 legacy outback , it came to a halt at Boreham services on the A12 coming back from a week in Great Yarmouth,no warning lights no temp.rise it just stalled on the exit ramp to the services, I managed to get going again ,but thought better call recovery £350 to get it back to Ashford Kent, I took it the 1/2 mile to work this morning (very slowly) ,the mechanics started it up and said sounds like it's thrown a big end Shell,terminal I think ,I can get another engine from the Scooby breakers nr Canterbury for £1200 but it's coming from Holland!, so bit of a non starter that, so if anyone out there wants a broken outback with 4 brand new tyres on (budgets) £250 buys it.......
