Linx
Hi, Has anyone here tried the Terraclean system as featured on Wheeler Dealers and championed by Ed? http://www.terraclean.co.uk/ Looks impressive in the ads and when the emmisions before and after were compared on the XK8 but I have spoken to anyone who has tried it. Pity you don't get a dyno run of before and after.
Gaulson
Makes no difference from previous reviews I have read, most people say the first test in the add was done from cold and they other when hot so it gives massively different readings. Most people that have had it done said the engine was slightly smoother but was hard to tell. Someone had a before and after reading of emissions and they dropped very little and was hard to tell if it was from the clean or not. Who knows? Gaulson
It's also hard to tell what age car most of the reviews are based on, here is one a guy has owned for "13 years" "The most remarkable difference was the fuel computer, which was readingaround 27 mpg on the way to Milton Keynes, was now reading 35 mpg on theway back (and I was much heavier with my right foot on the returnjourney). The car is far smoother and quieter and has regained oodles of the torque it had lost over the 13 years I've owned it." That to me gives it a thumbs up!

cusco scooby wagon
It's also hard to tell what age car most of the reviews are based on, here is one a guy has owned for "13 years" "The most remarkable difference was the fuel computer, which was reading around 27 mpg on the way to Milton Keynes, was now reading 35 mpg on the way back (and I was much heavier with my right foot on the return journey). That to me gives it a thumbs up! ive also had the wagon done and its defo improved the bottom end pull and on a run managed to get 340 miles to a full tank it seems a lot smother and was well worth having it done. BoozyDave
I've heard a few stories about it and non said they noticed a difference in fuel economy or performance IMO save your cash
