Greetings! Just bought a 1996 Impreza Estate/Wagon. It's very grandpa-ish right now but just bought a few parts to make it look nicer.

It's a non-turbo which is a little disappointing but couldn't complain for £550. Have a very impractical 3-series convertible so needed something a little more family friendly with a large boot since we just bought a Rottweiler, so a saloon/coupe also wasn't practical for my needs.

It's a fairly nippy car but will be looking to get a little more power out of it. Few engine upgrades and possibly a remap. I know a remap only releases a few extra horsies but there are other benefits from remapping so it's worth it.

One thing I want is a matching silver or black WRX bonnet to make it less granddad and more anti-social looking.

Cheers!

Hello &welcome loads of wagon love here !

Remapping on these ain't cheap and for n/a cars the gain wouldn't really be worth it, depends on how deep your pockets are,

Better way to go would be weight reduction and handling upgrades arb/droplinks etc.

There's loads being broken on the bay so you should be able to pick up some goodies for yours

Welcome,

You've got a good bargain there mate :D

I've got a few wagons that join our meets and with a little change they look and sound good.
