Can you xv owners advise me please?

How is the ride height / seating position of the xv in comparison to say a 05-09 forester or your typical SUV?

Its about the same as other SUVs which I think would be higher than the Forester (not driven a Forester, only been in one in the Subura showroom). You may need a visit to a dealers for a definitive answer.

My XV is slightly lower than my old Kia Venga (but both have adjustable height seats). Changed as elderly mother cannot get into Venga, as sill is high, but floor low, so a bit of a stretch for her old legs. The XV has a lower sill, and higher floor, so easier for her. Used to have a 54 Forester, and that was easier to get into, but the seats seemed lower again (replaced a RAV4, which was high).

The XV is actually marginally higher than the forester at around 9" which is apparently the same as a landrover freelander
