lev1982
Personally I would look to spend the money on a mint classic. Then spend the change on select upgrades/remaps etc. Especially if you find a nice closed deck. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
HoodedLime
Very low mileage blob STI, forged hawk STI maybe even forged hatch STI. Or get one cheaper and forge it yourself...
martyc
You could get something very good for 6-9k, I spent 5k on an honest but not perfect 60k blob wrx from a dealer nearly a year ago but prices seem to be creeping up Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
C_SpRiNkLeS
ok thanks all. would you advise purchasing an import?
lev1982
Imports seem to be better on the classics. Spec wise. But I'm no expert. But beware as my mate has an import and his insurance is high. It hasn't made a real difference on mine and mine is an import as well Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Jay762
Wotcha and welcome - what do you want to use the car for - the classic will will give a more rewarding drivers car experience but the newage motors are slightly more comfortable, 2.5 lumps in the later newage models give more torque lower in the rev range some have had the ringland failure and have had forged internals as a result. A standard car with a remap will apparently address the issue which causes it. You can get some nice imports for that money running a 2.0 twinscroll setup, just not as common. Either way keep us posted
