So, just started noticing a strange noise as ive been driving around more and without radio on. 

 

Tried to capture it best I could in that video. Its that strange noise that almost sounds like a cricket or something... Its loudest in 4th and 5th but can be heard very faintly in all gears at low, cruising, revs. Makes it when coasting and when letting off accelerator too. Anyone heard this before and/or have any ideas what it is? Im not going to be able to get to garage until Saturday at earliest and even then not sure if he'll have time to check it properly and its playing on my mind. Could it be a heatshield???

Does it go away if you brake gently?

Or set the diff to full front or full back and see if it still does it

If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

Not 100% sure now but i think it does go slightly when braking. 

Changing Diff settings didn't make any difference. Is still there. 

Listened on my phone and couldn't really hear bug ger all, so I'm no help at all as usual :-/
