akafonzie
Out of interest what mods have you done to the standard lights?
HoodedLime
:)
akafonzie
Hmm, look interesting! Do you by any chance have a view from a bit further away, and a link to any info regarding what you've done? Cheers!
HoodedLime
Its really hard to get a good picture of them due to reflections I did basically whats in this video plys I painted reflector bowl black with plasti dip. So technically this mod is completely reversible if required.
akafonzie
They do look a lot better than the standard lights, without looking too ott which some often do! Thanks!
HoodedLime
And the light output is much better :) Them aftermarket ones were not so good to be honest...
aucky
thing i did not like about my hid conversions, was all the extra wireing and balasts in engine bay, think it made things untidy, they was brighter then my halo but another thing i did not like was with the hid when you put the high beam on it makes no diffrence to the light, but i did have LED bulbs in which was super bright. HoodedLime
Well, I wasn't really bothered about that extra bits for hids, had it wrapped up and packed under headlights so barely noticeable. And true, with hids on, your halogen high beam barely makes difference lol. Those projectors are bi-xenon if I can be arsed to wire them up. Then I would be able to completely get rid of halogen bulbs or perhaps paint the bowls black as well and just leave the bulbs in for flashing purpose. But right now I'm happy with how they are and won't even be installing hids in them for time being. I'll stick with some nightbreakers :)

HoodedLime
It's standard Mini H1 projectors, there's 100s of them on eBay
