stants Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Hello& welcome It's a slippery slope, you need to ask yourself what kind of power your looking for and what kind of budget you want to set Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Wrx waytey Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 Would like about 350 - 400 bhp budget ok
Wrx waytey Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 I expect to change turbo injectors exhausts inter cooler fuel pumps remap big brakes etc just not sure what's the best and most suitable thanks Dave
Scoobyghost Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Gearbox and internals will need changing at that sort of figure too. Wrx 5 speed box are prone to going pop over 350ftlb. Internals 350hp. Not that it's a straight line rule but the higher you push it the less reliability you have.
stants Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 You probably won't get past 350 without spending a fair wacky, the internals on the engine wont take it, the 5speed box tends to protest at more than that too, Exhaust fuel pump & a map will see you come to or over 300 depending on what turbo you have on it. Xitwoundz Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Welcome, as most above have said the standard box can't take those figures mine is roughly 340bhp and has about 370ft lb of torque and just blew it's box so be careful 😂
Wrx waytey Posted April 29, 2016 Author Posted April 29, 2016 If that's the limit that's fine it's not about the money I want to make it the best I can its a project I've been looking forward to and with all your help and advise got to start some where exhaust induction best makes any suggestions please
