I'm looking at imported forester cross sport 2.0t auto.

I've had newage Impreza before and guessing these are much the same. I've no idea how good the forester is or what the auto box is like so I'm enjoying taking a look around the forum.

Hopefully I can contribute in some way.

Hello & welcome were a friendly bunch here, I've only ever seen one cross sport on UK roads, I can't see it being much different to drive than an sg forester with a bit more oomph and slightly lower?

Never driven the auto box subaru,@david1972 has an auto legacy at the moment and is also looking at the cross sport

Thanks stants. There's a couple at a place in Stockport and some in Middlesbrough at the moment on eBay. I may take a look.

Yeah - if you go to the boro, let me know what it's like - they have an auto blob-eye wrx just landed there too....

 

If the rest of their auto boxes are the same as mine they are magnificent - so smooth and responsive to you burying you foot 

 

I'd love a cross-sports turbo Foz - would want a facelifted version though - none of those currently in the country for sale, but 2 on their way - one in the south-west, one in the south-east

Must be. The facelift looks good but about 1k too much for me!

I've got a car to p/x so won't be able to haggle much off.

I do think they are pushing it asking £8k for them - the one due into the south east soon is priced at £7k - think its David Hendry in Wiltshire

Looks very nice. There's a few close to me but they ain't facelift and similar price to that one.

The travel or not question is always a toughie....I ended up driving 2.5hrs each way for my outback, but it was well worth it. I almost negotiated the deal by email before viewing, which helped [emoji106]
