Mk1/classic difference between facelift vents?

Hi guys recently purchased a driver side bonnet vent for my car, waiting for it to arrive but realised last night it says on the listing its for facelifted models. Could of kicked myself as usually really careful about checking bits will fit. There made to order and its been a few days now so just gunna wait for it to come anyway as its my fault. It is for a mk1 impreza but I don't know whether they are different shape and prefacelift/facelifted vents are interchangable? Suspect not :( if anyone knows I'll be eternally grateful!

Yeah v1-v3 have a different shape

V1 & v2 (92 to early 96) have the preface bonnet .V3 to v6 (late 96 to 00 ) have the facelift bonnet and the bonnet scoops and vents are not interchangeable.

You can "facelift " the v1 & v2 scoobs fairly easily by fitting headlights, grill and bonnet off a v3 onwards scoob .

My v1 has been facelifted but I'm going back to preface next spring when I get a respray .

If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊
