November 24, 20169 yr Hi all I have heard several stories about turbo up pipes (the one's with cat in ) if I change mine to an sti version, as I have a 2004 wrx.do I need to get a remap straight away or will the car run ok ?
November 24, 20169 yr The car will run fine but you won't see any benefit. Also, you will get the check engine light on as the catted pipe has a temp sensor. A little resistor in the plug will remove it or a mapper can remove the error.
