200sxet
Hi! I live in sweden and I got a 2006 Impreza Wrx Sti spec D from UK. Sadly my engine is worn out and I am considering buying a used engine instead of fixing mine. My question is if I get one from Japan will it work and fit in my car? Seminole81
I'd assume it would fit fine...the problem you MAY run into, would be the ECU. If you're buying a complete swap then it's no problem as it comes with a ECU. At least, that's from previous knowledge with Honda's. I assume Subaru's are the same... Jay762
fixing your own engine will give you a known good unit to start again plus you could upgrade some parts at the same time, possibly rectifying why the engine failed in the first place. Also the numbers will still match on your motor.
