Y reg turbo 2000 ECU question

Hello guys and girls,

my uk turbo 2000 has the prodrive performance pack.

i am with wondering if I install a performance panel filter and decat downpipe can my ppp ecu be remapped to get the best out the mods?

You will need to have the ecu remapped for the decat pipe. The air filter will be Ok. For your model the ecu can only really be done using ecutek licensed software.

what sort of cost would I be looking at for an ecuteck map? I presume I would have to buy the license to be used on my car?

Prices vary depending who you go with. I paid 640 a few years back. Includes license, dyno time and map. Not sure what the going rate is nowadays.

the ppp ecu accommodates the standard sports cat that's installed , to run a decat isn't much difference 

and you will pay out a lot for a extra 20bhp
