Hello guys I have a 1994 Subaru impreza wrx automatic.I have put her into drive and she is just nor moving just reving.I just don't get the problem I put it in reverse and 1,2,3 and n and park and they all do the same is that gear box or talk converter I have oil coming out of my drives haft also.is that the seal.

Does sound like a torque converter issue ,seeing as it won't change gear "automatically " and leaking fluid .

 

Unfortunately probably the only way to find out exactly what's wrong would be to remove the gearbox and inspect it .

 

As it could be something simple like a linkage and driveshaft oil seal or more expensive like 1 of the hydraulic valves ect .

If it's leaking oil there is a chance that is your only issue,
