Hello all!

I found your group by searching Facebook. I currently lease a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek XV Limited. Our lease is up this October, so we visited our dealer the other day to test drive the 2018 Crosstrek. Their demo model was the Limited with EyeSight which is the fully loaded top-of-the-line Crosstrek. The 2018 was better in every way compared to our 2014. Great ride, super quiet, and I love the EyeSight system which our 2014 did not have. My only regret is having to give up our manual transmission because the Limited only comes with a CVT here in Canada. But I get X-Mode which will be great for some of our snowy conditions in the winter.

I have watched many YouTube videos about the Crosstrek, and it's interesting to note the differences in models around the world. I see that in Europe, the Crosstrek has an electronic parking brake button, yet in North America, we get the standard mechanical parking brake.

Also, unique to the Canadian market, the Crosstrek gets a heated steering wheel which they do not get in the USA.

Also, colour choices are different. The USA gets eight colours to choose from, whereas we only have seven here in Canada. They dropped the Venetian Red Pearl colour for Canada.

We have chosen the Cool Gray Khaki (silly name) for our fully-loaded 2018 Limited. White, black, silver and gray are so boring!

Attached is a photo of the Canadian Limited steering wheel that shows the heated steering wheel switch.

Our new subie should arrive in eight weeks time. Can't wait!
