Ball07
I’m considering buying my first Subaru Impreza WRX turbo to use when I am in the UK. I work abroad and keep a car in storage in the UK to use for about 7 weeks in the summer and 3 weeks at Christmas. I was wondering whether an Impreza would be ok in storage on a trickle charger? I know that all cars don’t like to sit but some can react worse than others. I don’t want it to become a money pit for 10 weeks of the year. Any advice would be appreciated and apologies if it’s a stupid question. This 05 plate is one of the nearest to me, so it would be something like this. shms
wouldn't it be more economical to hire a car during uk visits ? no outlay, no maintenence and no hassle !!
Ball07
You'd think so but no. I'm back for long periods so it's actually cheaper overall. It's also an investment as these will no doubt go up in value.
