January 28, 20197 yr Hey all, recently bought my first subaru and it already has a problem :( Basically if I thrash it from first gear its all fine, but if im in 3rd gear cruising at a low-ish RPM, then decide to put my foot down, it gets into boost but when it hits about 4k RPM it start resisting so I have to change gear. I've been told it could be the MAF sensor? so I've ordered a second hand one to see if it is the problem or not. Any help is appreciated.
