Replacing S204 STI turbo

I just bought a s204 recently and after I got it onto the highway I found out that the turbo doesn't want to pull properly. It sort of jitters from 1000 to 4000 rpm, then at 4000 rpm I just don't know what the hell it's gonna do. So I yanked it out to find some issues that were a bit concerning to the point there's no hope in repairing it.

Now the question is do I replace with an original VF42 turbo or do I buy a Litchfield & Hybrid Turbos from turbo dynamics. It's only for street use and I still want to be able to drive around town for errands. Any help would be great.

depends on budget and what you want, sc36 or sc38 is very hard to beat at that kinda power/spool
