Impreza R Sport 2.0 Mileage

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I have just joined the club, as I am looking at getting an Impreza R Sport 2.0. I'm only 20, so insurance won't allow much power 🙄.

As always, does anyone have any experience with higher mileage examples of this Impreza? I know the classic of "whats high mileage", and "depends on the car", but I'd just like to know anyones issues with these non-turbo models and at what mileage they are. I've only come across chat about turbo models, so any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much

Wotcha and welcome - I have a 2008 2.0 Sport hatch auto with 79K on. Car has not missed a beat engine wise. Only had to service, replace a weeping bush on the rear diff mount, brake pads tyres etc. Engine has been solid. A recent post on another forum returned similar responses from other owners.

I am looking at doing the head gaskets just purely as a precaution because the material used by Subaru is not particularly good quality - I have no issues with them at the moment.

Hi - unfortunately not it popped up on the 'book of faces' and I can never find anything on there once I have read it 🤔
